NASRA SCHOOL

DEFINING ETNS

Since 1949, the Education Trust Nasra Schools have been delivering high quality, English-medium, holistic coeducation, consisting of a PK-12 curriculum, catering to ethnically and religiously diverse students of middle to lower income households in Karachi.  Over the past 70 years,  Nasra School's 5 large, custom-built campuses, strategically placed in the city's most densely populated areas, have produced over half a million highly capable and knowledgeable graduates, many of whom have ascended to attain monumental success in various parts of the world, across a wide range of disciplines including: medicine, law, engineering, computer science, journalism, finance and accounting, business, sports, and entertainment.  (Please see our alumni page for a handful of our most notable Nasrarians!)

THE SANCTITY OF NASRA SCHOOL: A HOME AWAY FROM HOME

Equipping our students with the necessary tools to forge ahead in careers of their choosing is not all we do at Nasra. Deeply invested in the overall growth and development of our pupils, we spend time getting to know them all as the uniquely gifted individuals that they are, honing their talents and maximizing their potentials academically, physically, as well as socially and spiritually.  Therefore, a Nasra style education is an all-encompassing holistic experience, supported by the genuine devotion and concern of our qualified teaching faculty; relatively small student-teacher ratio which ensures individualized attention and monitoring; a rigorous academic curriculum supplemented by a vast array of extracurricular activities, competitions, and empowering experiential programs; and most importantly, carrying our school's mission, vision and core values close to our hearts at all times, giving each of us purpose, clarity and direction as we journey through the course of our time at Nasra.

For these reasons amongst many more, our students feel that Nasra School is a family- a home away from home.

Holistic Approach:

BALANCED EXCELLENCE

A CURRICULUM WITH A DIFFERENCE!

#PROUDNASRARIANS

In this fast-paced era which has witnessed an ongoing technological revolution, to follow a conventional, mainstream educational system is to do a great disservice to students. Children of today need more than mere academia in order to maximize their potential to meet the challenges of tomorrow: in addition to knowledge, they need to evolve strong, independent personalities capable of critical thought.  For this reason, ETNS has always promoted and candidly embraced a holistic approach- one that strikes a perfect balance between academic rigor, physical fitness, moral consciousness, spiritual development and the socialization skills of growing children.

In order to sufficiently target the above mentioned areas of development and educate the whole child, Nasra School provides the necessary atmosphere, curriculum and co-curriculum as well as integrating religious and spiritual formalities in many of our events: our classrooms, libraries and labs are impeccably organized and well-equipped to counter any academic limitations; our sports ground is spacious enough to hold practice sessions and competitive games; our extensive extracurricular activities offer many opportunities to hone students’ creativity and imagination; our community service initiatives encourage mindfulness and awareness of humanitarian and ecological concerns.

Additionally, the dedication of our qualified teachers and administrative staff is a distinctive asset for successfully implementing this holistic approach.  Our faculty monitors the progress of each student carefully, offering assistance when required and providing regular detailed updates to parents, ensuring that the educational experience of pursuing balanced excellence extends beyond school walls into the home, eventually gaining momentum and transforming into a powerful intrinsic attribute as our students transit into adulthood with comfort, confidence and clarity.
