ADMISSION PROCESS

ADMISSION POLICY

  • The application process starts in the month of January every year.  

  • Tests and interview sessions will be conducted within 2 weeks after form submission.  

  • Test results will be announced 1 week after interviews are done for admission.

  • Admission form will be issued for the students who successfully clear the interview / test.  

  • Upon notification of acceptance for admission the following payments should be sent to the school to secure the student's place: Admission fees, annual fees, 2 month tuition to be submitted at the time of admission and a security deposit (refundable).

  • In case of transfer between campuses, Rs 3000 will be charged as transfer fee.  

  • Please note:  Once paid, the admission package fee is nonrefundable.

TRADITIONAL APPLICATION PROCESS

ADMISSION OFFICE TIMINGS: 9 am to 4 pm

  1. Show the student's Nadra Form B and birth certificate to the campus Headmistress in order to get an admission form slip.  (No hospital certificate will be accepted.) Parents' (both mother and father) CNIC is compulsory.   

  2. All the admissions of Class I to IX are compulsory to submit the Last School TC. Without TC no admission is accepted.

  3. Accounts Office will issue an Admission Application Form and provide details for upcoming interview date.  

  4. List of successful candidates will be displayed outside of Accounts Office.  

  5. Parents have to get Admission Fee Challan from Accounts department.   

  6. Admission fees are to be paid at any branch of Bank Al Habib in Karachi.  The paid Challan has to be presented in the Accounts Office in order to get the final Admission Form Signing Sheet which will be signed by parent and school Heads.

TRANSFER AND WITHDRAWAL POLICY

  • In case parents decide to withdraw their child from Nasra School, a written notice must be submitted. 

  • Upon receiving the written notice and clearance of school dues,  a Transfer Certificate (T.C.) will be issued within a week. A non-refundable fee of Rs. 500 will be charged for the issuance of the Transfer Certificate. 

  • A child failing more than once in a class resulting in dropout will be issued a T.C and no fee will be refunded.  

  • Three warning letters (based on academic performance or disciplinary behavior) will be issued to the students after which they will automatically be given a Transfer Certificate with no fee refund.  

ADMISSION PROCEDURE

There are 3 stages of application process

  1. Submission of original required documents

  2. Oral and written test

  3. Interview of parent or guardian

 

  1. Submission of original required document

The admissions open in January and parents or guardians are required to present the applicant's original NADRA Birth certificate or B-Form to the Headmistress of the relevant section. With approval from the HM, they will receive an Application Slip.

Next, parents proceed to the Accounts Office at their respective campus to pay a nominal, non-refundable fee and collect an Application Form. Parents given a date and time for submitting the Application Form, typically they have to submit the completed admission form within two days of collecting the form.

 

  1. Oral and Written Test

On the submission of Application form, the date & test slip for Oral and written test is given to the Parents by the concerned section Head.

 

  1. Interview of parent or guardian

After the applying student clears the oral and written test, the parents are invited for the interview.  The Accounts department then issues fee vouchers to the parents. The parents submit admission fee in the relevant branches of the designated Bank. If the fee voucher is not paid in full by the deadline, the applicant will not be offered admission that academic year and may apply as fresh candidate for the next academic year.

The bulk of admissions offered are in the ECED years.
