21ST CENTURY TOOLS FOR INTELLECTUAL AND PHYSICAL WELL-BEING

ETNS campuses provide a modern and intellectually stimulating environment for optimal learning. Spacious and organized classrooms, well-stocked libraries, and labs for science and computer studies support the curriculum outlined by Aga Khan University and Karachi Examination Boards. Each campus features a sports ground for outdoor activities, play areas for small children, and a 3-stage water filtration system to ensure clean drinking water. Backup generators maintain uninterrupted learning, and medical services are available for emergencies, highlighting our commitment to student and faculty well-being.

COMPUTER STUDIES DEPARTMENT

ETNS offers several computer studies programs catering to students of Primary and Secondary sections.  Over the past few years, we have successfully instated a computer department at each of our campuses, and enlisted the participation of nearly 6,000 students taught by highly qualified faculty specifically trained by IT professionals (via partnerships through SZAIBIST University).

The Nasra Schools' digital library is a big change from the old-style libraries into digital library. You can find lots of books, articles, and stories online. It's not just about reading - there are pictures, videos, and more. This new way of learning helps us understand things better and work together with our classmates. It's like having a library right on our devices. Nasra Schools is making sure we use the newest ways of smart learning, and it shows how everyone is using the internet to make learning easier and more fun.

EMPOWERING STUDENTS

Each ETNS Campus has a computer lab where students are taught to use Information Technology safely and responsibly for academic success and global awareness.

WAVE OF THE FUTURE: ROBOTICS AND STEM

Robotics (or artificial intelligence), a rapidly emerging technology, has become the hallmark of the age of the information. Integration of robotics in our daily lives has replaced human labor with machine-generated precision and speed. Incorporating this cutting-edge facet in our academics, we have developed a Robotics Club whose participants have created initial-level robotics, which have been displayed over the past 2 years in our exhibitions, Nasra Vision I & II.  The ETNS (main) Saddar Campus has been upgraded with high-speed wifi and the installation of necessary softwares including: Scratch Programming, Code Combat, Jupiter Notebook : python, Raspberry Pi. In a further effort to expand our technological provisions, all campuses of Nasra Schools will soon be adding laboratories allocated specifically to the high demand STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) careers, purported to be on the frontline of future global economy.

In Jan. 2019, Pakistan Academic Council (PAC) and EDVON Robotics arranged a “Robot Programming Workshop” for schools at NED University. Two computer teachers from each ETNS campus also attended this workshop to help them understand the importance of integrating STEM Based Robotic Education with our school’s regular curriculum. Since we are in the process of establishing STEM Laboratories in each campus this workshop helped them achieve a better degree of understanding for this field.
