THE 26TH WAZIR ALI TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

The 26th Wazir Ali Memorial Table Tennis Tournament took place from Jan.17th - 19th, 2019 at Islamia Club, Karachi. 88 teams from 40 different schools and colleges from Karachi participated in the three-day event. Mr. Asif Ahmed Khan, (Assistant Vice President CSR from the National Bank of Pakistan) was the Chief Guest for the Opening Ceremony, while Mr. S.M. Sibtain (President of Pakistan Table Tennis Federation) was present as the Guest of Honor. Mr. Farhan Essa (CEO Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center) and Dr. Haris (Head of Sukh Initiative of Aman Foundation) were the Chief Guests at the Closing Ceremony on the 19th. Ms. Faryal Gauhar attended as Special Guest of the event. Good effort by all teams!

The largest inter-school table tennis competition in Karachi, our annual Wazir Ali Memorial Tournament receives great press in both TV and print media. Shown to the right, is the coverage of the 25th Tournament's Opening Ceremony held on 18th January 2018, at Islamia Club Karachi. 40 schools participated, totaling to 88 teams and including 352 boys & girls!
