KANIZ WAJID KHAN GIRLS THROWBALL TOURNAMENT

Starting in 2011 as the Inter-Nasra Girls' Throwball Tournament, its name was changed in 2018 to honor former trustee and lifelong ETNS supporter, Kaniz Sakina Wajid Khan, close friend of late Mrs. Nasra Wazir Ali (S.I.)  To read more about Mrs. Kaniz Wajid Khan's numerous contributions to Nasra School, please visit the History page.

Nasra School has been free of gender-bias since its inception.  Since we view ourselves as proponents of female empowerment, we continuously encourage, incentivize and provide opportunities for our girls to excel in all areas. To that end, we provide strategic coaching to hone their skill, allot time for intense practices and applaud the efforts of each player.  The annual girls' throwball competition incites great excitement, providing an astounding display of agility and sportsmanship from our talented female athletes.  A total of 10 teams participate from our 5 ETNS campuses, with players aged 12-17.

We hope to witness many more nail-biting, high-octane matches between Nasra School's ambitious and competitive girls!
