THE EDUCATION MINISTER OF SINDH, MR. SAEED GHANI VISITS THE ETNS KORANGI CAMPUS
Nasra School Korangi Campus is set to embrace the new normal with the most stringent safety protocols. . During these unprecedented times, we have been preparing for the day we welcome you back to school. We have introduced Strict Covid 19 Prevention and Safety Protocols across all our campus in accordance with the government and World Health organization Guidelines Our health and safety experts have put in support infrastructure to enable us to return safely.
The entire campus is marked with Social Distancing Signs to ensure that students maintain a distance of 6 feet from each other at all times. Infra-red temperature checks will be done upon entry and any student with a temperature above 98.6 F will be isolated. Other symptoms will also be screened. All surfaces and frequently touched areas such as door knobs are regularly disinfected. Desks will be sanitized after each class and washrooms will also be sanitized on an hourly basis. Our cleaning staff will regularly sanitize all learning areas, computer labs and common areas. As per the ministry of education’s directives, classroom sizes have been reduced to half the capacity with two separate cohorts on alternate days. Furthermore class room arrangements have been reconfigured to ensure social distancing.
In order to assure all Precautionary measures, Sindh Minister for Education and Labour Saeed Ghani also paid a surprise visit to Nasra School Korangi Campus on September 16, 2020 to inspect arrangements made by school as classes resume after a gap of around six months due to Covid-19 pandemic.
The provincial minister expressed satisfaction over the availability of non-contact thermal gun sanitizers and masks at main entrances of the institution. He appreciated the efforts of the school management in making arrangements and following all the SOPs provided by government. The minister also reviewed the ongoing teaching process in different classes of the school.
